Snow Accumulation

Snow Accumulation Overview


The purpose of the snow accumulation feature is to visually represent accumulated snow throughout the entire global database.  This feature affects the visual representation of the terrain texture as well as the material returns.

Snow Accumulation Runtime Operation

Runtime Scenario - Enable Snow Accumulation

  1. Enable snow accumulation to 50 percent. Through either the host, spy, path, etc. set the following properties.

Snow Accumulation AeHost Usage

AeHost Scenario - Enable Snow Accumulation

AeHost can be used to demonstrate the Snow Accumulation effect in Nova.

AeHost Snow Accumulation

  1. Click on the Weather Tab
  2. Click on the Snow Accumulation Checkbox to enable the feature
  3. Enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0 to change the accumulation factor
